Driving Day
Wow! What a gift expereince!
Do you know somebody who has never learnt to drive or hasn't driven since passing their test? Perhaps someone who thinks they have missed the boat, they think they are too old to learn or are just terrified about the whole idea of driving!
We have the perfect gift experience for them.
A day of gentle introduction into driving in a safe enviroment with a fully qualified driving instructors in dual-controlled cars.
10:00am They meet the instructor for a chat about their requirements over a cup of tea or coffee.
Then it is on to the theory and hazard perception training. Here they will be introduced to the test format with full explanation and help with the computer skills needed. (rest assured - very basic!) They will be able to have a go at the mock tests in both elements of the test with a talk through any areas they require help with.
12:30pm A light lunch is then provided.
1:30pm They are driven to the Devon Driver Centre by a fully qualified driving instructor. Here they will either learn about the basics of driving in a dual-controlled car,or have a refesher course depending on their requirements. This will include a safety brief and debrief at the end of the session.
4:00pm They have a session with the instructor where any questions they may have will be asnswered. Refreshments will be provided.
There then follows a presentation of a certificate and a bouquet of flowers.
A small portfolio of photograghs will be mailed out a few days later as a momento of their day.
